# Air quality (ISPU) action card

**What does this ISPU reading mean and what should I do?**

ISPU (Indonesia’s air pollution standard index) has five categories: Good 0–50, Moderate 51–100, Unhealthy 101–200, Very Unhealthy 201–300 and Hazardous 301 and above, under Environment Minister Regulation P.14/2020. Enter a reading from the official ISPU portal and choose whether you are in a sensitive group to see the official advice. The card has no live data.

## How the card works

The reading you enter is matched to the ISPU category ranges in Environment Minister Regulation P.14/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/7/2020. The advice for everyone and for sensitive groups comes from the ISPU portal of the Ministry of Environment/BPLH.

The card does not fetch live air-quality data and sends nothing.

### Where do I find the ISPU reading?

On the official ISPU portal of the Ministry of Environment/BPLH, which shows hourly readings for monitoring stations.

### Who is in a sensitive group?

Among others, children, older people, pregnant women and people with asthma, lung disease or heart disease.

### When should I get medical help?

Go to a puskesmas or emergency department straight away for breathlessness, chest pain or worsening symptoms. In an emergency, call 119.
