ABOUT PANDUAN WARGA

How we check information

Learn how Panduan Warga checks primary sources, explains costs and uncertainty, dates meaningful changes, and handles editorial corrections.

1. Prefer primary sources

Requirements, charges and procedures refer to the responsible agency, rules or official publication. Other guidance sites help identify reader needs but are not the sole basis for service claims.

2. Explain uncertainty

Where official sources conflict, we avoid unconfirmed figures and explain the difference. Replacing a year in a heading does not update an old fee. Processing time is not presented as a guarantee.

3. Separate source checks from article changes

Guides show source-check dates. Article modification dates change after meaningful edits, rather than every rebuild. English editions are checked for consistency with their Indonesian counterparts.

4. Write for readers

A direct answer is followed by practical preparation, steps, costs, problems and questions. Internal links point to related needs. No ranking or AI-answer inclusion is guaranteed.

5. Correct openly

Material changes appear on the corrections page. A useful report identifies the page, disputed information and supporting source. Do not include identity numbers or private documents.

6. Prioritise changing information

Fees, entry conditions, benefits and changing procedures take priority for rechecking. This is editorial maintenance, not a live connection to an agency system.
