How the checker works
The checker matches the text against common scam patterns summarised from OJK’s Waspada Penipuan booklet and warnings from BSSN and Bank Indonesia, such as .apk files, OTP requests, time pressure, prizes, short links and transfers to personal accounts.
It runs on your device with simple rules, not artificial intelligence, and no text is sent. Scammers keep changing their methods, so a result with no red flags does not mean a message is safe.
