Report financial transaction fraud to IASC OJK
Act after a fraudulent transfer: contact the bank, report to IASC, preserve evidence and file a police report. Reporting does not guarantee recovery.
English edition. Official forms and source documents may be in Indonesian.
Immediately contact your bank or payment provider through its official channel and report the fraud at iasc.ojk.go.id. Keep transfer and conversation evidence, and file a police report. IASC coordinates financial handling; a report does not guarantee a successful freeze or refund.

Guide contents
What to prepare
- Transfer evidence, date/time, amount and sender/recipient account details.
- The reporter’s identity and active contact details for the official form.
- Relevant conversations, adverts, accounts or websites.
- A short ordered timeline. Do not delay contacting the bank while organising it.
Steps you can follow
Contact the payment provider now
Use the help function or contact listed in the official app/site. Explain the suspected fraud, timing, amount and recipient, and ask about account security and next steps.
Stop risky communication
Do not send more money, OTPs, PINs, passwords or device access. Save requests for extra payments supposedly needed for returns, administration or tax.
Submit to the official IASC portal
Enter the facts and requested evidence. Check amounts and account numbers. Follow portal instructions for separate reports where there are multiple recipient accounts.
Save the report and check its status
The Cek Laporan function asks for a report number, reporter phone number and captcha. Use these only through the official portal.
File a police report
IASC does not replace criminal reporting. Take the timeline and evidence to the police and keep both references.
Follow up through verified channels
Respond to official evidence requests. Independently verify messages, especially demands for money or secret credentials to recover funds.
Costs and timing
Report directly through official channels. Do not pay someone guaranteeing recovery. Internet or call charges depend on your provider; this guide promises neither an outcome nor a resolution deadline.
Check current requirements, availability and charges through the official reference ↗ before paying or travelling.
Keep a simple follow-up log
Record the date, organisation, reference number, requested documents and next action in one private note. It helps you explain the case consistently without sending a full evidence folder to an unverified person.
When helping a relative, keep the account holder involved in contact with the provider. You can organise the timeline and help locate official channels without asking for their password or OTP.
Things to check carefully
- Do not wait for perfectly organised evidence before contacting the bank.
- A ticket number does not mean the money is secured.
- Do not post identity or transaction documents publicly.
Frequently asked questions
Will IASC definitely recover the money?
No. Recovery is not guaranteed and depends partly on reporting speed and whether funds remain traceable or can be secured.
Does IASC replace a police report?
No. IASC supports financial coordination; police reporting is the law-enforcement route. The portal asks victims to pursue both.
What if the IASC form fails?
Contact the payment provider without delay. Use the portal’s Laporan Kendala link and prepare the error details without unnecessarily exposing secret information.
