Check annual versus five-year needs
Read the document dates. SIGNAL handles annual validation; five-year renewal, plate replacement and physical inspection require checking the Samsat route.
Register and verify
Get the app through Samsat Digital Nasional and follow identity, face and contact-verification instructions.
Add the vehicle
Use accurate ownership details. For someone else’s vehicle, use the supported official feature and conditions rather than altering identities.
Review the application and bill
Select the vehicle and receiving method, inspect the charges and generate a payment code. An article estimate is not the final payable amount.
Pay and check the outcome
Use an offered payment channel before the code expires. Save evidence and check the status and electronic documents. Track delivery separately if selected.
Costs and timing
Tax and SWDKLLJ amounts depend on the vehicle and applicable rules. Service, payment-channel or delivery charges may be separate. Review the total. A provincial tax-relief announcement is not a permanent nationwide policy.

Annual and five-year procedures differ
Samsat Digital Nasional explains that the five-year procedure includes a physical check and replacement of the STNK and number plates through Samsat. Annual payment evidence does not complete those requirements.
Ask Samsat about mismatched dates, ownership or vehicle information. Ownership transfers and registration moves have separate procedures. Keep relevant evidence for official discussion without posting owner details publicly.
If payment or documents are not confirmed
Record the transaction number, payment code, time and displayed status. Check whether money was debited before repeating payment. Contact official SIGNAL support or the payment provider according to where the problem arose.
Check electronic documents and physical delivery against the selected method. Delivery status is not the same as payment status. Retain validation evidence for when it is needed.
Things to check carefully
- Do not confuse SIGNAL with SIM renewal.
- Check the first payment before making another.
- Do not use an old tax-amnesty notice as the current fee basis.

Can SIGNAL complete a five-year STNK renewal?
SIGNAL is for annual validation. The five-year procedure requires the Samsat route and physical inspection.
Why is the vehicle missing?
Check identity, vehicle details and supported service coverage, then ask official support rather than changing data arbitrarily.
Is this the same as renewing a SIM?
No. Vehicle tax/STNK concerns the vehicle, while a SIM is the driver’s licence and uses a different service.
