Education
Check PIP education assistance and account activation
Check a student’s PIP status with NISN and NIK, distinguish nomination from an award, and confirm activation or disbursement with the school and bank.
English edition. Official forms and source documents may be in Indonesian.
Check PIP on the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education portal using the student’s NISN and NIK. If the result is a nomination, ask the school about account activation. Nomination, an active account and an award decision are separate stages; a result does not always mean funds can be withdrawn.

Guide contents
What to prepare
- The student’s NISN.
- NIK matching population records.
- School information.
- Identity and activation documents specified by the school and distributing bank.
Steps you can follow
Open the official PIP portal
Use the Ministry’s recipient-checking service.
Search using NISN and NIK
Enter the student identifiers and verification code.
Read the year and status
Confirm the relevant award year and status shown.
Ask about activation
For a nomination, ask the school about documents, the bank and the applicable deadline.
Check the disbursement stage
Complete activation where required, then confirm award status and the account balance through official channels before withdrawal.
Costs and timing
Benefit amounts and disbursement stages depend on the rules and student status. This guide does not set one amount for everyone. Do not pay someone promising selection.
Check current requirements, availability and charges through the official reference ↗ before paying or travelling.
Read the result before choosing the next step
Receiving support in a previous year does not establish current-year status. Nomination is also not evidence that an account is ready for withdrawal. Start with the school to identify the action and documents needed.
Ask which activation deadline applies to the student and bank. An extension for an older assistance year is not automatically the timetable for a new one. Keep the instructions to avoid repeated bank visits.
Resolve data or balance problems
If no record appears, check NISN/NIK entry and ask the school. If the balance is empty, confirm whether an award exists, the correct account is being checked and any withdrawal history.
Protect the child’s identity and bank records. Use the Ministry, school and designated bank. If escalating a complaint through the Ministry’s official service, describe the issue and submit only requested personal information through the proper channel.
Things to check carefully
- Do not use a previous year’s deadline as the current deadline.
- Keep the student’s identifiers out of public comments.
- Check nomination, activation and award status separately.
Frequently asked questions
Does nomination mean money has arrived?
No. Nominees may need account activation before the relevant disbursement stage.
What if the student received funds before but the balance is empty?
Check current-year status, the account and withdrawal history with the school and bank.
Where should I report a problem?
Start with the school. The Ministry’s ULT provides an official complaint route.
