How to check and pay Jambi vehicle tax online

Use the 'Cek Pajak' button on Bapenda Jambi's official website (https://bapenda.jambiprov.go.id) and enter the plate number (e.g. BH 1234 XY). Bapenda's own checker page (/layanan/cek-pajak) said it was under repair on 25 September 2026, and the E-Samsat Jambi payment site (esamsat.jambiprov.go.id) did not load. Private owners can check and pay annual PKB in the national SIGNAL app (Korlantas), which lists Jambi.

Jambi vehicle tax relief in 2026

Program Pemutihan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor 2026 (HUT Kemerdekaan RI ke-81). Ran 18 August 2026–30 September 2026 and has ended.

However many years a vehicle is in arrears, the owner pays only one year of PKB principal (the current period); the older principal arrears and PKB late fines (denda) are waived, and SWDKLLJ fines for past years are waived too. Extra cuts to the PKB principal: 5% for two- and three-wheelers and 2.5% for four-wheelers paid before the due date, and 7.5% for owners doing a transfer of ownership (balik nama/BBNKB). Available at Samsat offices, Gerai Samsat and mobile Samsat (Samkel) across Jambi. The official posts publish no exclusions. The programme ended on 30 September 2026. Bapenda Jambi said it was reviewing an extension (ANTARA, 21 September 2026), but no decision had been announced by 1 October 2026.

Penalty for paying Jambi vehicle tax late

Late PKB incurs interest of 1% a month for up to 24 months, with any part of a month counted as a full month; the same applies to opsen. The SWDKLLJ road-accident contribution has its own fine of 25% to 100% of the annual amount, capped at Rp100,000.
